TDW in Blossom - Kids Wildlife Photography
Join us for a fun morning of photography with your family to capture the everyday beauty of nature - perfect for camera-phones too!
Budding young photographers can learn tips and techniques in taking beautiful photographs of local nature, from flowers and insects to birds and trees.
With the expertise and guidance of Wild Intrigue (opens new window), together you will explore how 'composition' can help tell unique stories through a single photograph, and young photographers will learn how to identify and care for the wildlife spotted throughout the morning.
The walk will be very short, as there is plenty to photograph along Riverside Walk!
Meeting point: Meet outside The Staiths Space, Dunston Staiths, Gateshead (https://w3w.co/jokes.spoil.waving).
What to bring:
- a camera or camera phone
- comfy shoes and clothing suited for the weather
Most suited for ages 7 to 14 but all ages are welcome! Under 18s must be accompanied by a ticket-holding adult.
Kids Wildlife Photography is a free event - please book your spaces. If you are no longer able to attend please let us know so we can re-open the spaces for others to join.
The event is part of North East in Blossom 2025 celebrations, supported by players of People's Postcode Lottery.
